Enjoy the World’s 2nd Largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

St. Patrick’s Day brings a whole lot of fun and culture to the city of Pittsburgh. There are so many events going on over the weekend in celebration of the famous Irish Saint that you’ll find something everyone in your family will be able to enjoy!

St. Patrick’s Day ParadeKick off St. Patrick’s Day with the second largest St. Patrick’s Day parade! Bring the whole family out to this event on March 11 starting bright and early at 10 a.m. The parade will run down Grant Street, turn down Boulevard of the Allies and end at Commonwealth Place.

Irish bar crawlAfter the parade, head over to the South Side and register for the bar crawl at Excuses Bar & Grill. This is an epic bar crawl you definitely won’t want to miss out on as it’ll have all the green beverages you could desire to really put you in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit!

Market SquareRight after the parade, market Square has tons of St. Patty’s Day festivities going on. It’s a great place to take the kids or spend time with your significant other. Grab a bite to eat at one of the numerous restaurants in Market Square and soak up the fun atmosphere.

Parade Day MassLooking for a more authentic way to celebrate the holiday? Head to St. Patrick’s Church in the Strip District and have a traditional Roman Catholic Mass bright and early at 8 a.m. on March 11.
