Pipe Bursting

Question: What is the advantage of Pipe Bursting over conventional methods?
Answer: Pipes can be installed or replaced without digging a trench. This saves time, money and minimizes disruption to landscaping, driveways, sidewalks and concrete slabs such as in basements. The minimal disruption to existing structures is a two-fold cost saving benefit. In the first place, time is saved on the job itself translating into direct savings. Secondarily, the minimal site disruption also means minimal restoration, thereby saving more expense that would have been necessary with the old 'cut and cover' method.

This sewer line was 11 feet deep and 180 feet long passing under the swimming pool and a tennis court (not visible in picture). Over a two-day period, this line was replaced using the trenchless method with very little disruption to the landscape, saving thousands of dollars.
